NES DELIVERS EQUIPMENT FOR NORWEGIAN ELECTRIC FERRY CONVERSION

Hav Group company Norwegian Electric Systems has completed factory acceptance tests for a new Quadro Master  Switchboard for the electric ferry ‘Lote’, which operator Fjord1 is converting from diesel mechanical propulsion to electric.

The trademark blue cabinets are being delivered to Havyard Leirvik, where the shipyard will install the switchboards on the ship. NES will then carry out the Harbour Acceptance Test onboard.

The NES scope of supply to Lote includes the Quadro Master, retrofitting of existing AC Switchboards, Generators, Shore Charging System, Energy Storage Systems, Integrated Automation System and Power Management System.
