FKAB TO DESIGN GREEN LCO2 CARRIER FOR PRIME MARINE

Jun 7, 2024 | Ship design & naval architecture news

Swedish ship designer FKAB Marine Design, together with its Greek partner, Konstantinos Fakiolas of FinOcean, signed a contract during Posidonia 2024 with owner Prime Marine of Greece to develop a 4000m3 LCO2 carrier.

The vessel will have a strong environmental focus, where Wind Assisted Propulsion (WASP) will be investigated and evaluated to see if it is a good match for the operational profile.
