Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (BV) recently brought together maritime leaders and technical experts to discuss critical issues shaping the industry at an event in Athens.
George Sarris, Chairman, BV Hellenic Marine Technical Committee chairman and Enterprises Shipping & Trading president emphasised the importance of collaboration in addressing the sector’s challenges. George Andreadis, BV Marine CEO Greece, echoed this sentiment, reaffirming BV’s commitment to supporting the Greek maritime community.
Presentations covered the latest regulatory updates, the FUEL EU framework, biofuels, new charter party clauses for fuels and biofuels, and safety considerations for alternative fuels. The agenda featured the launch of MOVE, an innovative collaborative platform by Bureau Veritas.
