Decarbonisation companies Ahti Climate and Carbonex are forming a strategic partnership to advance the promotion and commercialisation of FuelEU Maritime (FEM) pool management.
By leveraging Ahti Climate’s pooling expertise, Carbonex will offer Fuel EU Maritime Pool Management solutions to its extensive customer base in Europe and Americas, including shipowners, charterers and ship managers. Through this collaboration, Ahti and Carbonex will provide a seamless approach to managing maritime emissions, aligning with the EU’s sustainability goals and helping operators achieve their compliance objectives more efficiently.
Ahti has developed a FuelEU Maritime pool management system, with more than 250 vessels under management already. It aims to significantly mitigate FEM costs for shipowners and operators, and eases regulatory compliance.
Carbonex assists clients with EU ETS compliance, voluntary CO2 emissions offsetting, and monetising onboard CO2 emissions reductions, and is enhancing its portfolio of services.
