Indian shipbuilder Cochin Shipyard (CSL) has handed over the 15th electric hybrid 100 passenger Water Metro Ferry BY 126 to Kochi Water Metro (KMRL).
Both organisations worked closely towards the successful completion of this project, which is intended to contribute significantly to the sustainable development and modernisation of water transportation in Kochi.
The electric hybrid 100 pax Water Metro Ferry BY 126 is designed to provide an efficient, eco-friendly, and convenient transportation option for residents and visitors in Kochi. With a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility, the ferry is equipped with electric hybrid technology, ensuring reduced emissions and minimised environmental impact.
CSL says it is committed to be a part of the growth of sustainable and efficient water mobility in Kochi.
